ABSTRACT
A Implantodontia alterou o planejamento da reabilitação de elementos dentais perdidos com uma significativa previsibilidade. A evolução e o aprimoramento das técnicas de reabilitação oral têm permitido melhor qualidade de vida aos pacientes em um curto período. Uma das alternativas atuais para reabilitar pacientes com perda total ou parcial de dentes é o uso da carga imediata, fazendo com que os implantes recebam carga mastigatória sem a necessidade de esperar pelo processo de osseointegração. A principal função do uso dessa técnica é simplificar o procedimento, reduzindo o tempo de tratamento e o período de reparação. A obtenção da perfeição estética em dentes unitários em próteses sobre implantes tem sido tema de inúmeras pesquisas e descrições de técnicas que visam otimizar, cada vez, mais o resultado final. O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma revisão de literatura e um caso clínico em que foi realizada colocação de implante com ativação imediata.
Dental implantology changed the planned rehabilitation of lost dental elements with very high predictability. The evolution and improvement of oral rehabilitation techniques have allowed a better life´s quality for patients in a short period. One of the current alternatives to rehabilitate patients with total or partial lost of teeth is the use of immediate loading, causing the implant to receive the masticatory load without having to wait for the osseointegration´s process. The main function of this technique is to simplify the procedure, reducing the treatment time and the repair period. The achievement of aesthetic perfection in a single tooth implant prosthesis has been the subject of numerous studies and descriptions of techniques designed to optimize more and more the end result. The aim of this paper is to present a literature review and a clinical case, which was held in implant placement with immediate activation.
